Abstract:
The thesis provides a method of controlling a system of orbiting satellites through a net of servicing ground stations. The problem is defined and a solution based on a dual view of the time spectrum is selected. That is, the vital service requirements are scheduled horizontally across the scheduling period, while the routine reports are treated vertically in time. The thesis includes a computer program written in the Fortran IV language and based on the logical development explained in the thesis. A 10 satellite-5 ground station example problem is presented.
