As part of a study of the dynamic properties of magnetic phase transitions, measurement was made of the relaxation time associated with the spin-flopping transition in CuCl2.2H2O. A relaxation time of 0.70 0.15 x 10 to the -7 power seconds at 2.4K. The measurements also yield the temperature dependence of the critical field which is in agreement with previous data. Author
