Pagination or Media Count:
Considerable attention has been given the technical lessons learned from the Berlin airlift, especially in regard to aircraft and air space utilization, training procedures, cargo handling, and so on. Less attention has been given the human factors involved in the airlifts operations, although these were certainly no less important to its success or failure than were the material and organizations aspects. This paper is devoted to a discussion of some of these human factors.
