RAND CORP SANTA MONICA CALIF
Pagination or Media Count:
The book being reviewed consists of 17 short papers and one long monograph, written by six leading Soviet scholars and one each from Poland, East Germany, and Yugoslavia. The papers were written while these scholars visited the Indian Statistical Institute between the years 1954 and 1959. The volume may be useful to those who do not command the requisite languages to use sources in original languages but who have a substantial familiarity with and interest in the subject of planning and statistics in socialist countries.
