THE SUPPLY OF FEMALE LABOR IN WORLD WAR II,
RAND CORP SANTA MONICA CALIF
Pagination or Media Count:
The problem of the report was to analyze the influence of various determinants on the female labor force in the World War II period, and in particular to discover whether the supply curve of female labor was backward-sloping, as some analysts had maintained. From the methodological point of view, the most interesting aspect of the study was the attempt to take explicit account of the auto-correlation of the error terms in a multiple regression model.
