The nature of the coordination of FeII, CoII, NiII, and CuII with the 5-trifluoromethyltetrazolyl anion was ascertained on the basis of a correlation of the reflectance spectra with previously reported observations see AD-603 081. All of the complexes appear to be octahedral or distorted octahedral sigma-bonded complexes involving coordination by the tetrazolyl anion and water. Author
