ACTIVITY ANALYSIS OF TECHNOLOGICAL STRUCTURES IN PRODUCTION: AN EXAMPLE,

Pagination or Media Count:
The activity analysis model seems particularly adapted to the study of technological structures in production, because particular pieces of technology activities are explicitly identified in the model, and specific decision variables activity levels are associated with them. While the existing formulation of the model does not permit distinctions between different groupings of the same set of activities, a minor modification which makes the model a sector-wise additive one rather than a completely additive one yields the desired result. The paper is limited to the formulation of the sector-wise additive model, and the presentation of a simple example illustrating its application.
