The regeneration of K1 mesons in solid materials was studied, using a beam of K2 mesons. A pair of magnetspark chamber spectrometers were employed to momentum analyze the pions from the K1 decays. Using copper regenerators, the transmission regeneration is found to indeed be coherent. The mass difference was measured with a regenerator consisting of two pieces of copper, separated by a gap of variable width. This method is independent of all nuclear parameters and yields a mass difference of .50
