The chief results of the work are as follows Measurement of air drag and fallspeeds of artificial hailstones. Derivation of an empirical law of rime density studies of internal structure of rime and hail. Establishment of a simple calibration procedure for meteorological radars. Measurement of radar reflectivity of perspex and ice spheres discovery of strong effect of surface wetting.
