Abstract:

Convolution molecules are molecular Patterson diagrams. Inserted in the unit cell properly, as described by the convolution molecular structure, they allow deconvolution of a Patterson diagram, leading to orientational and translational parameters of the molecules. The convolution molecule structures are derived by a new method and are tabulated for all space groups of triclinic, monoclinic and orthorhombic symmetry. Author
