Blends of cotton and synthetic fibers were studied nylon, polyester . These were knitted into fabrics to evaluate their elastic elongation, gripping characteristics, as well as nonyellowing properties in the case of white. Data are presented on the yarns and fabrics employed. The fabric was designed to provide a clean, snug fitting glove which has good gripping characteristics equal to all cotton.
