Experimental results are presented on the magnitude and distribution of the pressure-time blast loading resulting from internal blasts on the walls of partially vented enclosures. Experiments were conducted using 16 scale steel models of typical storage cubicles subjected to the internal detonation of spherical bare pentolite charges. The principal variables were the charge size, its location within the enclosed space, and the shape of the enclosed space.
