Abstract:
The report deals with the detectability of biphase modulation, symmetrically filtered biphase modulation, and quadriphase modulation. The results provide a guide to the detectability of other types of discrete modulation such as amplitude modulation or M-ary phase modulation. The analysis presents output carrier-to-noise ratio in terms of input signal-to-noise ratio and receiver bandwidth ratio. Author
