Abstract:

A new method was worked out for the synthesis of polymers containing in the chains alternating pyrazole rings with a free NH-group of the pyrazole nucleus the essence of this method is in the interaction of bisdiazo-compounds with n-diethynylbenzene or diacetylene. The synthesized polymers are yellow powders which are highly soluble in dimethylformamide and cresol, their reduced viscosity of a 0.5 solution in cresol is 0.2-0.3, and their molecular weight is approx. 10000. The polymer from 1,6-bisdiazohexane and n-diethynylbenzene has a melting point of 440 C beginning at 416 C the polymer darkens the polymer from bisdiazohexane and diacetylene melts in the range 350-374 C the polymer on a base of bisdiazoxylylene and diethynylbenzene does not melt til 500 C.
