Abstract:
A theoretical investigation to introduce a realistic size spectrum for the precipitation drops, including those found near the base of a cloud, and to evaluate as exactly as possible all the rational scattering parameters that are necessary inputs for the formulation of the equivalent radiative transfer problem in addition to the scattering and absorption coefficients, these parameters include polarization at any scattering angle, per unit volume of space with precipitation andor cloud particles.
