Abstract:
SABER is used by the CDC 1604 1604-A computer to convert symbolic-language programs into machine-language programs. Using a specialformat symbolic-card deck as input, SABER assembles the program, prepares an assembly printout, a new combined input tape, and provides a binary output for use by the MTCII Master Tape Control II program.
