Abstract:

This volume contains a detailed description of the history programs used in the STAGE 64 Output Processor Programming Specifications. The STAGE Output Processor sorts, compiles tallies, and presents the output of the STAGE model in printed form. The complete program presently consists of 38 processes for each side, but in view of the fact that the processes are run under an executive control, new tasks can be added to the model as they are needed. Subroutines of the CL-I utility package are used during the initialization phase of the program and by the executive control. The coding of routines was primarily done in MODSAP but L sub o was employed in a few instances. In writing the output system, the goal was to develop an efficient, flexible model in a minimum amount of time rather than to achieve elegance. All processes and their tables and routines are described in full in this volume. Detailed flow charts of the routines have been included. Author
