A combined X-band augmenter, C-band augmenter, L-band augmenter, and UHF command receiver has been built and bench tested. The combined system weighs 14 pounds, occupies a volume of 14 cubic feet, and requires 125 watts of prime power. The system uses a single C-X-band traveling wave tube as the RF amplifier for all functions. Signals in L-band and UHF are upconverted to the C-X-frequency band prior to amplification, after which they are downconverted. This RF signal processing is performed using multiplexing techniques with strip-line construction. The electrical performance of the feasibility models is summarized as follows L-band gain, 40 db L-band power, 10 mw C-X-band gain, 60 db C-X-band power, 2 w Command Receiver Sensitivity, -75 dbm.
