Abstract:

This is an interim report covering the development of the Automatic Detection and Display Equipment. The investigation of active filters, Initiated in the first quarter, was continued. An analytical analysis of a new high Q configuration was conducted, and the performance of 10 breadboard filters was measured. A variable two section RC low-pass filter was also developed. This circuit achieves variable time constant by duty-cycle modulation of capacitor charging current rather than changing the RC product. Further development was done on a 10-kvdc power supply, drive circuits for a storage display tube, and a radar simulator. Author
