Abstract:

Testing was conducted to determine whether all deficiencies noted during service test have been corrected and no new deficiencies have been introduced in production models of Handset H-189 GR. This test revealed that deficiencies noted during service test have been corrected except for completeness of the maintenance package. It was concluded that Handset H-189 GR will be suitable for Army use when adequate provisions have been made for maintenance literature and supporting spare parts, and that it is safe for its intended use.
