The objectives of this contract are to investigate practical applications of electron streams derived from laser-irradiated surfaces and related basic photon-metal interaction phenomena to investigate the capabilities of the beam-plasma amplifier and to study active microwave phenomena in solid-state materials. The purpose of these solid-state studies is to provide a better understanding of the phenomena and their application in the effective generation and amplification of high-frequency, high-power microwave signals. This report presents the progress of the research on four tasks Linear beams and RF circuits, Beam-plasma interaction, Microwave solid state devices, and Laser-induced emission.
