Abstract:

During the third quarter of Phase II on the LCSS Program that is, April, May and June 1965, the major portion of hardware design was completed. During this, the fourth quarter of the Program, the remaining portion of hardware design was essentially completed and released to drafting. With the completion of a Definitive CPIF Phase II Contract on 13 September 1965, the hold imposed on all manufacturing activities during the third quarter was removed and the LCSS Program resumed on a full-scale basis.
