Wind tunnel studies have been performed on several configurations of the Cross parachute. Both the canopy geometry and the cloth porosity have been varied to provide data over the entire range for which the canopy may be used. In addition, the performance of these canopies in the wake of a forebody has been evaluated. This report contains the results of three-component studies on these models as well as a discussion of the canopy performance in light of the tests performed.
