Abstract:
The effect of cell diameter on the nitrogen yield from Co6O gamma-irradiated gaseous nitrous oxide has been examined. The Fricke dosimeter was used as the reference of absorbed dose. The dose actually absorbed by the gas was calculated by the Bragg-Gray principle. The results obtained indicate there is no significant dependence on GN2 on cell diameter. The mean GN2 of 11.4 or - 0.8 obtained here compared well with values reported by other workers. Author
