Abstract:
Efforts concerned a program to analyze and evaluate the support system responsible for keeping certain tactical communications equipment operational in the hands of the military user, particularly a allocation of available maintenance resources by echelon, b economics of fifth-echelon activity, and c establishment of float requirements. The equipment subjected to this analysis consists of four medium- to highdensity tactical communications items. The first and highest density of the four is the tactical f-m vehicular communications unit, usually designated the ANGRC-3-8 series. The second piece of equipment is a tactical a-m radio designated the ANGRC-19. The third item is the air-to-air and air-to-ground f-m tactical communications equipment, netting with the previously mentioned ANGRC-3-8 series, usually designated the ANARC-44.
