Abstract:
The objective of this case study is to contribute to increased analytic understanding of revolutionary internal war. Specifically, the study analyzes the Algerian Revolution by examining two types of information in terms of their relationship to the occurrence, form, and outcome of the revolution 1 social, economic, and political factors in the prerevolutionary and revolutionary situations 2 structural and functional factors of the revolutionary movement, such as the composition of actors and followers, revolutionary strategy and goals, organization and technique - The study is not focused on the strategy and tactics of countering revolutions.
