The work performed on the design of SSB and VHF crystal filters in the frequency range of 2 to 30 MC during the second quarter is presented. The analytical approaches for both lattice and ladder crystal filter design in the normalized frequency domain were considered. A suitable design for lower frequency region filters by a two-section half-lattice network with ten crystals has been achieved. Analytical design of ladder crystal filters was partially completed and additional analysis and computation are still needed to establish a suitable design. Author
