Abstract:

This report is divided into three main sections Aerodynamics, Gasdynamics, and General Flow Phenomena. An attempt is made in the first section to cover dynamic phenomena associated with the high-velocity flow of gases over bodies, including rarefied and free-molecular flow. The second section covers the problems associated with internal flow, e. g., flow in nozzles, wind tunnels, and shock tubes. Similarity concepts are also included in this section.
