An experimental program was conducted for the prupose of investigating a particular cross correlation signal processing technique, Spectrum Compression and to define characteristics of interest in potential applications to Army weapons systems. No significant discrepancies were found to exist between theory and the experimental results. The Spectrum Compression, cross-correlation technique possesses unique characteristics which makes it particularly suitable to applications in radar, secure communications, command guidance links and other weapon systems functions. The appendix presents a simplified method of calculating Fourier transforms of waveforms applicable to this cross-correlation technique. Author
