Abstract:

The transition to great supersonic speeds of flight leads to considerable kinetic heating of the aircraft wing. The amount of the local heat flux from the boundary layer into the wing is determined as the product of the local coefficient of heat transfer time the difference of the local temperatures of the boundary layer and the wall. It is clear that a decrease in the coefficients of heat ransfer on the wing leads to a decrease in the hea fluxes into to wing. The coefficient of heat transfer depends basically on the local parameters of the flux on the outer edge of the boundary layer. An influence is had on the local parameters of the flux by the angle incidence and the form of the profile, which determine also the coefficient of lift. Author
