Most work performed under the present contract was described in Final Report AFOSR 3207, August 1962, AD-407 505. This supplementary report records accomplishments since that date. In addition, salient results of the entire investigation will be presented. An interesting aspect of the present work is that it contains one of the earliest extensive uses of an interferometer to study heat transfer in turbulent flow. Author
