The results of HF propagation studies over Arctic paths during 1959-1962 are presented. The investigation is mainly based on transpolar pulse transmissions on 12, 18, 24 and 30 Mcs between Alaska, Norway, Sweden and Greenland. In addition, ionospheric absorption and synchronized step-frequency measurements were utilized in the analysis. Author
