The objective of this program is to obtain additional tensile and stress-rupture data on rolled Inco 713c sheet fabricated by techniques developed in a previous program. Six heats of Inco 713c were melted and cast into plates 0.125 in. thick. The plates were then hot rolled Vought rigid rolling mill to 40 mil thickness. The rolled sheet was heat treated, inspected and cut into specimen blanks for tensile and stress-rupture testing. The tensile test portion of the program, which included tests on both Inco 713 and Rene 41 at 1900 F and 1700 F, has been completed. The average ultimate tensile strength of Inco 713c at 1900 F was 51,200 psi with 4 elongation which was considerably greater than the 15,900 psi ultimate tensile strength and 37.8 elongation of the Rene 41 tested under the same conditions.
