Abstract:
The implementation of an integrated instrumentation system for the Human Disorientation Device, a multi-axis rotator for vestibular studies, is described. The system provides for the acquisition and analysis of biomedical data and for the correlation of precise simulator variables with the bioelectronic requirements of the experimental programs. It also provides sufficient system flexibility to permit the utilization of newly developed technological procedures and devices without extensive time lags or modifications of the original installation.
