Abstract:

The head balloon dipping machine has been in stalled and operated semi-automatically. Im provements of the equipment are continuing to be made as necessary. These improvements will be incorporated in the design of the tail balloon dipping machine. The design of the balloon as sembly machine has been initiated. The basic functions of the various components have been described. No work has been done on the con veyorized drying system. Twenty eight prepro duction samples have been assembled and are awaiting testing by the government. Twelve head balloon dipping forms have been obtained, and 12 tail balloon dipping forms are in the process of procurement. Author
