Abstract:

This report presents the results of experimental testing to determine the calm water performance of five round-bottom utility boats. The models were all 116-scale, furnished by the David Taylor Model Basin. The purpose of this investigation is to provide BuShips with systematic resistance data for round-bottom hull forms operating in the displacement and semi planing speed ranges.
