A discussion of the program and a summary of the work conducted are presented. The basic program was to study the effects of thickness on the mechanical and physical properties of fiber reinforced plastic laminates for deep-submersible external pressure vessels. An analysis of fabri cation methods investigated, and problems related to thick-walled cylinders are given. Methods of testing and test results of cylinders and rings are presented.
