This final report sums up the advances made during a three year study in theoretical understanding of the onset and frequency response of ferroelectricity techniques of growing single crystals and preparing ceramics of reproducible properties chemical analysis and synthesis of high-dielectric-constant materials effects of cation substitution measurement techniques and the interpretation of optical and electric spectra and conduction phenomena.
