Abstract:

The primary objective of the program is to conduct a demonstration static test of a monolithic flightweight 156 in. diameter solid propellant motor incorporating a fiberglass case, a high expansion ratio nozzle, and a liquid injection thrust vector control system. Motor and component design effort, and the majority of the fabrication effort for this program have been completed. The second fiberglass case has been fabricated, successfully hydroproof tested, and prepared for casting. The LITVC system components have been delivered and assembled for integrated systems testing. The ignition system verification testing has been completed and all special tooling, including the diffuser, has been fabricated. Author
