Pagination or Media Count:
A leterature survey of the underwater rocket field was carried out with the objective of comparing the work at the Naval Ordnance Laboratory with that of other investigators. The present program is concerned with the effects on underwater rocket performance of the phenomena associated with over-expanded nozzle operation flow separation, inertial effects of the water environment on the rocket exhaust, and effect of the jet on hydrodynamic drag. It is concluded that there is no duplication of effort between the NOL program and other investigations. Author
