This report compares two equipment configurations which used different coherent modulation techniques. A detail description of equipments, principles of operation, theoretical analyses of error rate performance and signal bandwidth are presented for Minimum Shift Keying MSK and Coherent Shift Keying CSK. An on-air-test program to evaluate these systems in an atmospheric noise environment was performed using conventional Frequency Shift modulation as a standard. Author
