Abstract:

Comparisons are made on the shock wave location, weight flow, and pressure recovery for two internal filter assemblies of the full-scale ALARR Payload in the Aerodynamic Wind Tunnel, Transonic 1T and the Propulsion Wind Tunnel, Supeepersonic 16S. Dddata indicated that both configurationsnnonns were structurally adequate. However, extensive redesign of the inlet will be necessary if the inlet is to remain started at Mach numbers below 2.66.
