Abstract:
5,5-Dinitro-2,2-bisdifluoraminohexane and 5,5,5-trinitro-2,2- bisdifluoraminopentane were prepared from the corresponding nitroketones and difluoramine in H2SO4 under pressure. t-Butyldifluoramine was absorbed by H2SO4 without gas evolution. Hydrolysis of the intermediate gave acetone quantitatively. HNF2 was added for the first time to a simple linear olefin 1-octene. Ethyl N-fluorocarbamate reacted with aliphatic aldehydes in the presence of a trace of HCl to give the corresponding monoadducts and diadducts. Adducts of ethyl N-fluorocarbamate and olefins were also prepared in the presence of mineral acids. Aqueous fluorination of the butyraldehyde-ethyl N-fluorocarbamate diadduct resulted in the replacement of one of the carbethoxy groups by F.
