ON THE BASIS OF AN INVESTIGATION OF THE TEMPERATURE FIELD IN VARIOUS TYPES OF INSULATION, HEAT FLOWS cold losses are determined both during the cooling of the tank insulation non steady state as well as after the temperature field has been established. Illustrative examples ARE GIVEN OF THE CALCULATION FOR LIQUID OXYGEN, NITROGEN, AND HYDROGEN. The proposed method of calculation can be successfully applied to insulation barriers for any other compressed gases.
