A method is proposed which excludes the necessity for initial capacitor activation in the sources and enables the efficiency and functional reliability of the energy converter to be raised and its weight, dimensions, and inertia to be lowered. This is attained by connecting a capacitor together with a linear inductance into a circuit operating at parametric resonance at a frequency half of that at which the dielectric heats. The essence of the method consists in alternately heating and cooling the capacitor, the dielectric of which possesses a penetrability which is a function of temperature. As a result of a change in the capacitance of the capacitor a variable electric current is excited in the circuit.
