Abstract:
An analysis is presented of the motion of a four-rail helical launcher system including tipoff, i.e., the conditions when the front shoes leave the launcher but the rear shoes remain in contact with the guidance rail. The launcher is allowed three degrees of freedom pitch, yaw, and roll.
