Abstract:
The demand of the electrical industry for winding wire with increased heat resistance, capable of operating at temperatures from 400 to 500 C has increased greatly. As none of the known types of organic insulation are suitable to these high temperatures, oxide insulation of wiring with anodized film was investigated. Included in the studies were the structure of the oxide insulation, breakdown and recovery of dielectric strength, mechanical properties and abrasion resistance.
