Abstract:

Type SN-2967A The static characteristics of Test F8159 were extremely close to the target objectives. Zero bias plate current will be increased 20 ma to meet the desired 120 ma level by a change in grid TPI. Pulse life tests and pulse performance are both satisfactory and cathode follower linearity continues to be acceptable. Static life test performance will require additional improvement. Materials and processing methods are being investigated. Type SN-2968A Life tests with carbonized plate material are satisfactory. Heater current will be increased and grid TPI reduced to center Mu to improve zero bias plate current. Author
