Abstract:

Tests on the Ti-7Al-12Zr 0.125-in. pilot run production sheet showed that the material had satisfactory properties in both the annealed, and annealed and thermally exposed conditions. One-half of the scheduled number of 0.040- and 0.125-in. sheets was rolled to final gage. In addition, one-half of the scheduled number of 0.063-in. sheets was rolled to breakdown gage 0.155-in..
