Abstract:

Experimental ZnKOHAgO sealed flat plate cells delivered 75 whrlb and 6.25 whrcu in. at the 5-hr rate to 84 whrlb and 7 whrcu in. at the 100-hr rate. Experimental unsealed cells retained 46 to 50 of their new capacity after 6 wk storage at 160 F. No improvement in cell performance was obtained at -30 F.
